For me, mindfulness and trauma are inseparable in working toward mending and calming the wounds within. I see wellbeing through a holistic approach, as when a part of us is wounded, it can quickly impact to the other parts too.
I work through integrated paradigms (or modalities as they call it). Still, my priority is in getting to know you enough to fit my approach to fully respect your life philosophy.
My blanket philosophy, however, sits in the holistic way of viewing one's health. So if I were to state the modalities I draw strategies from the most, they are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy & Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (ACT and EMDR).
Our work together will include breathwork, body-awareness work, and other pleasurable self-care practices. Don't worry, I will guide you every step of the way. Those I recommend, I'd have for sure tried at least once! The overarching purpose is to help you develop a deep embodied sense of self-love and compassion, awareness, and inner stillness; in other words, in building a relationship with yourself.
